UTH published an article in the newspaper Magnisia, on 22/05/2014, in the framework of the EC Visit which was held at the The Facilities of the Department of Planning and Regional Development, University of Thessaly, on May 21st, 2014.
 
 
UTH published an article in the newspaper Thessalia and second article in the newspaper Taxydromos, on 04/04/2014, in the framework of the Open Forum which was held at the The Facilities of the Region of Thessaly, Regional Units of Magnesia and Sporades, on April 3rd, 2014.
 

UTH published an article in the newspaper Thessalia on 02/02/2014 informing the public about the research results of the increased concentrations of particulate matter in the region of Volos.

Publication of the invitation of the second consultation meeting in the municipality of Thessaloniki on 05/04/2013 in newspapers and internet pages.

A four-page article Posted in the newspaper ‘O typos tis Kiriakis’ about  the contribution of fireplaces in the increased concentrations of suspended particles and the sharpening of strokes and heart attacks, on 27/01/2013.

NCSR D participated in the 20-years anniversary event for LIFE in Greece, held in Athens on the 24th of April 2012, which provided networking opportunities with other Life beneficiaries and potential future collaborators. 

 
Presentation of specific techniques for measurement of carbonaceous aerosols and their implication in understanding the impacts on Human Health where presented by K. Eleftheriadis in the NanoImpactNet – QNano conference: “From theory to practice - development, training and enabling nanosafety and health research” 27 February to 2 March 2012 Dublin, Ireland.
 
In addition the ACEPT-AIR partners have contacted beneficiaries of other Life projects, relevant to ACEPT-AIR objectives and activities, such as Med Particles and Diapason.
Mr Georgios Proias, on behalf of University of Thessaly, gave an interview at Mrs. Kekatou, reporter on ERT - ERA radio station (101,2 FM), on March 9, 2012. Mr Proias referred to the ACEPT-AIR consortium, the actions and the scope of the project. He also referred to the summer measurement campaign regarding, PM10 and PM2,5 concentrations in Volos and the first results.      
University of Thessaly proceeded to two press releases (Taxydromos and Magnesia News, 05/03/2012) informing the public about the first forum meeting which was held in Athens on December 14, 2011 and about the starting of the sampling campaing concerning PM concentrations in Volos (Sampling Campaign Poster_2)
University of Thessaly proceed to the production of a pamphlet for the ACEPT-AIR project, for dissemination to public and private bodies and for mobilization of society.

Aristotle University of Thessaloniki together with the Municipality of Thessaloniki proceed to two press releases (Auriani Press and Press of Thessaloniki, 02/07/2011) informing the public about the starting of sampling campaign concerning PM concentrations in Thessaloniki (Sampling Campaign Poster).   

N.C.S.R. "Demokritos" and Axon Enviro-Group Ltd have participated in the LIFE09 Regional Kick-off Meeting, held in Athens on February 17, 2011. The project manager delivered a short presentation regarding the project's aims, main activities and anticipated results.
Project Manager Dr. Eleftheriadias K. gave a speech at the opening session of the Conference EcoTexnologia 2011 , held at N.C.S.R. Demokritos on March 12, 2011, related with "The effects of PM in the environmental pollution and public health".
